Setyaki

Raden Setyaki is the son of King Setyajid of Lesanpura [Ugrasena]. He is also known as Wreniwira because he is the son of Dewi Wresni; he is also often referred to merely as “kesateria from Lesanpura.”

As the eldest son of a king it is expected that he succeed his father on the throne. However, Setyaki chooses to leave his homeland to follow his brother-in-law, King Kresna of Dwarawati, since Kresna is the incarnation of the god Wisnu.

Setyaki is revered as a hero in Dwarawati and because of his magical power he is given the honorific name Bimakunting (the miniature Bima). In the Baratayuda Setyaki kills many of the enemy with his magic club.

Raden Setyaki has kedondongan eyes, a refined nose and mouth and a moustache. He wears the kadal-menek hair knot and a diadem with the garuda ornament in back. He wears bracelets, anklets and armbands, as well as the bulan sabit necklace. He wears the kerajaan lengkap loincloth.
